Our Sunday service is at 10:30 am with children's church (Sunday School) 15 mins after.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

NURSERY IS OPEN FOR YOUR USE IF ANYONE NEEDS IT.

All singers - especially non-choir members, are invited to sing with the choir on the following Sundays:  Nov. 5th to Dec. 17th.
Please come for 2 Thursdays prior to the Sunday that you'll be singing.  We start at 6:45 p.m.
I look forward to seeing some new and familiar faces!

Five week Advent book study started from Nov. 10 - Dec. 08.  We meet for lunch @ 12:00 p.m. (bring your lunch).
We get into our study from 12:30 – 2:00 p.m.  We are studying “When God Comes Down” by James Harnish. 

Nov. 21 – Tues. – 11 am – 1 pm – RMUC Community Lunch fund raiser $6.00 per person.

Nov. 21 – Tues. – All items for the Christmas to Easter newsletter must be into the office or given to Linda Declercq.

Nov. 22 – Wed. – 7 pm – Official Board meeting

Nov. 24 – Fri. – 6 pm – Pot luck and euchre

Sunday School Cheese Fundraiser for month of November.
See bulletin board for order forms.  Cut-off date is November 26th.

Nov. 28 – Tues. – 9:30 am – Looking for volunteers to help decorate
the Christmas trees and sanctuary.  Please contact Linda Declercq.

WHITE GIFT SUNDAY - DEC. 3 - Food donated will go to our Food Cupboard.
Note: There is a rehearsal for the children participating in the service on Saturday, Dec. 2 at 10.00 am.
CARING AND SHARING  Richard's Outreach committee with ELUCO is providing gifts for
children in the Marconi Complex. If you wish to donate, check the Outreach bulletin board.
Choose a tree with a gift suggestion. Write your name on the list. Return your gift
before Dec.10. with the tree attached to an ordinary bag. Another group will do the gift wrapping.
Thanks for sharing.

“Did You Know” – FOOD CUPBOARD has given food to 23 hungry people in three days, greatly depleting
our stock of food and money for gift cards.  This is a busy time of the year,
and any donations to the food cupboard would be greatly appreciated.

There's a white box in the Narthex and there is paper for you to write your favourite Hymns.
Please put them in the box and I will use them in upcoming Gathering songs. Thanks Rev. Christina

SHOPPING GIFT CARDS ARE AVAILABLE IN DURRANT HALL AFTER CHURCH TO PURCHASE OR ORDER.  
This is an excellent fundraiser for Richards.  December 10th is the last day to order shopping cards for Christmas.

Richards Memorial Cake Sales – Claxton Cakes 1 lb. - $8.00
3 lb. box - $20.00, Liquid Honey $9.50, Cream Honey $9.50 and Marmalade as priced.

Our mitten tree is up in the narthex.  We appreciate all donations of mittens
and hats so if you are able to knit there are many children who would be happy to have them. The
Outreach committee deliver them to the schools in our area Thank you.  Also there is a bin under the table near the tree
and it is for yarn.  You can donate yarn and you can also help yourself to yarn anytime.

The Outreach committee put information on our bulletin board for everyone to read.  You are welcome to take the Mandate

and /or Observer magazine home to read anytime. There is also other information about
the United Church Mission and Service Fund explaining various projects
that they support and help.  Be sure to take a few minutes to read the items.

Prayer Cycle - This Sunday, November 19, we are asked to pray for the mission and ministry of
Wesley-Knox United Church, and for the well-being, compassion, strength, and
joy of Rev. Tracy Crick-Butler and all others involved in ministry leadership at Wesley-Knox.
